A source-verification audit of the underlying dataset completed in August 2026. It found that the cross-domain accuracy measure the analysis rested on could not be reconstructed in comparable form across the domains it combined, so the construct was retired rather than re-estimated. There is no replacement figure and none is expected. The hypothesis itself is not retired; testing it would require a new study designed from the start to produce comparable units.
